You know the times when you’re young and you tumble and roll down the stairs,
scruff pass the edges of the glass tables while playing catch-the-thief or scald your tongue from the hot milo.
That were the time, mama would pick me up softly, whispering hush-hush to my ears, a kiss touched to my cheeks to comfort my misfortune.
I grew up with my grandparents up to my teen.
Frankly speaking, what they have done for me are far more noteworthy compared to my own parents.
I live with them, I grew up in their hands, they raised me. For this, I’m thankful.
Grandpa,
He always chauffeur me around, he has never been a tad late to pick me up from school. He waits for me patiently even sometimes I took my own sweet time, playing around in school knowing that he’s waiting. He wrote my homework just because I played the whole afternoon with neighbors. He always fulfill my wishes. Reward me when I’ve got good grades (or find reason just to dote on me). And when he have extra to spend, he spent on me. He protects me from all bullies, shoos away unnecessary acquaintances which came to me, he’s my shield, my shelter, my defend.
Mama,
She wakes up 3 times in the night to feed when I was a baby. I love sleeping in her arms feeling secured. I hold her hands on my chest when I go to bed.
she stands 4 hours every day outside my classroom, watching me the first full year I attended my nursery. Can you imagine granny actually attended 1 full year of nursery with me? She never leaves me. she keep her vision on me and only me. she never raised her voice or fluff up

when I'd behaved mischievous and done outrageous. she gives ample care. she valued my happiness more than hers.
There’s more over years and what I’ve mentioned here are just a small speck.
For all that grandpa and granny have done for me. I am thankful. Thankful for the privilege to have you both in my life.
