Musings

When one was a little girl, what were the things one longed for?
Dolls, candies, fancy clothes and extended bed time?
Yes yes, hugs and kisses and spending quality time with Mom and Dad!
Life was so simple then; such an innocent joy to savour and oh what sweet after taste!
Throw in Christmases, Chinese New Years and the occasional birthday celebrations...nothing is ever more complete in a little girl's insouciant life.

Yet soon enough, gone were the top priorities to have the most adorable dolls and the pinkest clothes. Replaced by the need to be an acceptable part of one's group of friends. And what one give just to grow up faster? Boys! From being just mutual acquaintances casted from the same genderless mould to something deeper, something more intricate. The mind boggling process of individual competition, major exams, challenges loomed up as a bigger than ever threat.

Time whirled passed, seemingly faster than one can fully exist. Ah! The transient post teenage years. Did you ever felt like freezing northern glaciers without a flow?
Aimlessly floating in life trying to find a niche for oneself?
Despite all the outwards successes one may seem to have, there are still acres of misgiving and self doubt.

Moving on, living life and reaching another touchstone - Adulthood. That is another story reserved when the process is mundanely experienced.

this is what you can spurt out when you can't fall asleep. argh.

PS: IT Fair. i'm so getting myself a camera.
