Man
A genuine man was as unusual a phenomenon as a genuine woman.
For men, or so, in that moment however mysteriously, their beating hearts told them- were fathers, husbands and lovers who enjoyed behaving in a manly fashion. Men liked to act in a superior manner, bragging, sometimes even crowning with vanity: they were as ridiculous as roosters. Under their display, most of them madly melancholy and childish, now simple, now greedy, now dull and insensitive.
I loved man for genuinity, most resolute, just that and no more, the way a rock is a rock.
A man who is not trying to prove anything by raising his voice or rattling his hand, who does not crow, who asks no favour except those himself can grant, who does not look to women for either friendship or maternal comfort, who has no wish to hide in love's embrace or behind a women's skirts; a man who is only interested in buying or selling without hustling or greed, because every atom of his being, every nerve, every spark of his spirit and every muscle of his body, is devoted to the power that is life: that kind of man is indeed the rarest of creatures.
For there were mummy boys and men's soft hands, and there were loud and boastful men whose voice has grown croaky declamining their feelings to women, and they were vulgar, uncultured and panting kind of men- none as real.
There were the handsome, who cared less for women than for their own beauty and success. And there were the merciless, who stalked women as though they were enemies, their smiles sticky as honey, who carried knives beneath.
And then occasionally, just occasionally, there was just a man. So real, that you know he’s the one. The one in the millions, we call exception. So, what’s the chance to meet one?

my gratitute..
You know the times when you’re young and you tumble and roll down the stairs,
scruff pass the edges of the glass tables while playing catch-the-thief or scald your tongue from the hot milo.
That were the time, mama would pick me up softly, whispering hush-hush to my ears, a kiss touched to my cheeks to comfort my misfortune.
I grew up with my grandparents up to my teen.
Frankly speaking, what they have done for me are far more noteworthy compared to my own parents.
I live with them, I grew up in their hands, they raised me. For this, I’m thankful.
Grandpa,
He always chauffeur me around, he has never been a tad late to pick me up from school. He waits for me patiently even sometimes I took my own sweet time, playing around in school knowing that he’s waiting. He wrote my homework just because I played the whole afternoon with neighbors. He always fulfill my wishes. Reward me when I’ve got good grades (or find reason just to dote on me). And when he have extra to spend, he spent on me. He protects me from all bullies, shoos away unnecessary acquaintances which came to me, he’s my shield, my shelter, my defend.
Mama,
She wakes up 3 times in the night to feed when I was a baby. I love sleeping in her arms feeling secured. I hold her hands on my chest when I go to bed.
she stands 4 hours every day outside my classroom, watching me the first full year I attended my nursery. Can you imagine granny actually attended 1 full year of nursery with me? She never leaves me. she keep her vision on me and only me. she never raised her voice or fluff up

when I'd behaved mischievous and done outrageous. she gives ample care. she valued my happiness more than hers.
There’s more over years and what I’ve mentioned here are just a small speck.
For all that grandpa and granny have done for me. I am thankful. Thankful for the privilege to have you both in my life.

i thought of that 3 minutes we shared...
Affection grown up in him for her and this affection is reciprocated,
Affection may not be love, they know well it isn’t love that they're exchanging.
However, they remain as two strangers despite the frequency they met.
Yet again, the affinity between them cannot be denied for the unspoken intimacy they shared went far beyond words.
it is eccentric to have met a particular stranger over the past years, at different time, different places.

A woozy Monday for me…:(
