anticipating 2010..

3 more days till a new year, 2010.

2009 has been a whirlwind, well at least for me so to speak. For me, it was kinda jaded. 2009 happened so fast, and believe it or not, I’m moving on to mid-twenties, and then to my thirties! How scary!!! I cant imagine that I’ve grown so quickly! Mummykins and Daddykins, your daughter are no longer the lil girl!

Though 2009 happened fast but yet i could still remember every single minute details as though it was just yesterday. It was the year that the most unlikely friends or people popped up into my life and got together for different purposes (kinda weird, but i am not going against the tide cos I do believe things happen for a certain reason). This year was the year i met a lot of long lost friends and boy must i say, we all havent changed much. Glad to know everyone's been doing great. :)

2009 is the year I’ve attended the most weddings!! Maybe I should call it the wedding year! I supposed it is prolly a good year to tie the knot. :) so.. congrats my friends who had left the singlehood! :)

I’ve a list to-do for 2010, i hope to:
- have my teeth whitened
- get a VAIO lappy
- lose at least 3kg
- read and reflect more, indulge and party less
- perm my hair
- go for yoga and gym religiously
- mug harder for my studies
-maybe consider for a career shift.
-save more money, travel more.
-get myself a nice indoor tan.

As for my wishes, I guess didn’t change much from wad I’ve wished for in 2009.

With having that said! I’ve not accomplished what I supposed to be working on! what happened Kellyn! Big guy up there! Please be more kind to me! :p and now, I shall officially migrate all my wishes to 2010~

Affections

You get a feeling about certain women.
You feel some girls will make the perfect wife, some girls will make the perfect girlfriend. There're other girls who you know are bad news the minute you set eyes on them, others you know are bad news but wanna get close to them anyway. There're some girls who make you feel small and miniscule when they stare at you, whilst others make you feel like a man when you were just a boy a minute before.

Then there's the kind you wanna wake up next to. The kind where the previous night, you had a perfectly great time at a "social event" with because she got on well with everyone, because she knew she had to make a good impression as your date, and not just sulk in a corner and be a wallflower. The kind where after the so-called "office function", she didn't want to just go home and sleep because she was tired, but instead would want to go for drinks with you, turning something that was previously a boring professional obligation into a date.

There’s the kind where you'd want her to ask you to spend the night. Her kisses would be soft, but hungry. Her nails would cut deep, but they wouldn't scar. She'd be playful in the morning, simply because it was a new day. She'd be splashy in the shower, and she'd help you shave. She wouldn't cut you, because she knew every single contour of your face, having kissed every bit of it.

When you try and touch her, but she wriggles out of the way. You make breakfast while she sings in the shower, her voice sounding absolutely perfect. She makes the bed, because she knows you don't like it to be unmade. She snatches your newspaper and crushes it, because she thinks you're paying more attention to the news than her, and she'll have none of it.

You kiss each other when it was time to leave for work. You text her at work, telling her you miss her, even though you've been apart for the better part of only two hours. She smiles, and tells you to piss off and concentrate. You laugh because she knows what she said would've made you laugh. You make plans for dinner at her favourite joint and surprise her, because she thought dinner would be a normal night at the kopitiam nearby. You buy a rose on the way home, because you know she'd smile, and every smile of hers completes you that little bit more.

The reservation's at the restaurant on a weekdays, because you can never be too careful and detailed when it comes to your woman, because you don't care that other people would scoff and say "weekdays no need reserve one what.", because she likes the ice cream and you'd move mountains to bring it to her just so she'd be happy. bring her the macdonald’s ice cream cone even though it melted all over your hands when you reaches her door steps. She can't fit into her jeans, but you tell her that it's the jeans that shrank, and her waist is still the most perfect waist you ever set eyes upon. She cries because she wants to, and you cry with her just so you can share that moment with her. You watch a romantic comedy because she wants to. She watches an action movie because you want to. You learn foot massage because she's been in heels all day, and she does your shoulders and neck because you've been staring at a computer screen all day. You fall asleep in each other's arms, because there's no other place the both of you would rather be in the world.

My first, in the life-time participation in Marathon!

i ran, and complete 10km for standard chartered marathon! :D i'm proud of myself!

and to those who ran outta your life for the full marathon and for the glory of "finisher" at your back! i'm proud of you! :)

i was reluctant to doll up initially and isnt keen attending at all, but with the lil fun set in and with great companies, i guess it is still a good night :)
